Meet your instructor
Hi, I’m Becca
I’ve been a photographer for over 10 years, starting out as a wedding and portrait photographer but now specialize in commercial photography. I went to school for photography, learned all the fundamentals, and absolutely loved the commercial side. After college, I took on a job as a portrait retoucher and was photographing weddings on the side. And up until a few years ago, I was working my photography business alongside a full-time corporate job. To be honest, I was stuck in the mindset that I couldn't make it full time as a commercial photographer in my area. But as I started taking on more food and product jobs, I remembered how much I loved that type of photography.
Once I started getting serious about food and product photography, I quickly realized that I needed to learn a whole new set of skills in Photoshop.
I started working as a freelance retoucher alongside growing my photography business which has given me A LOT of practice retouching all types of images. I now want to share my skills with you because it has made such a difference in my business! My goal is to create a platform where you can have everything you need, all in one place. I wanted to create something for those who don't have a full team of assistants, stylists, and retouchers on set all the time. If you're anything like me, we do it all. And not living in a big city, I work with a lot of different types of small, local businesses. That's why, in this course, I included tutorials around restaurant, skincare, food, product, and portrait photography.
