5 apps to use as a creative business owner

5 of my favorite apps I use to simplify and keep my business organized:

1. Notes app - this might seem basic, but I use this for everything—from writing out posts, to keeping text I need to refer back to on the reg. You can create multiple different folders to keep things organized and I love the checklist feature for lists. Plus, it’s free and probably already on your phone!

2. Canva - I’m in photoshop daily but when I’m on the go or want to spend some time away from my computer, this is a simple and easy way to create graphics for social. There is a free and paid option.

3. Notion - I recently switch from using multiple systems (like Airtable and Milanote) to Notion and I absolutely love having everything on one place now. I use it for planning out content and back end admin work. And as a photographer, it’s also amazing for your pre-production. I’ll set up a board with all the shoot details, anything my clients have already noted, create my shot list, and add any inspiration images. I can then share this with my client . It’s basically like a giant mood board for your shoot—with everything in one place.

4. Dubsado - This is where I organize my photo business. It’s great for project management, creating and sending invoices/contracts, and streamlining my workflow. I have my contact form on my website through Dubsado, so whenever I get a new inquiry, it builds a new lead automatically for me (and saves me time in the long run!).

5. Preview - this also helps me plan out my content, more for visual purposes. Super easy to use and allows you to add a placeholder for reels.
